The other night we were watching the Olympics swimming and Caleb asked Bubba
"Daddy who is swimming.....boys or gools?" , "Why do they have helmets on in the water?", "Why do they have glasses on?", " Is that water cold?", "Why are they swimming on their back?", "Why are they in their underwear?"
So innocent. I was lying in bed just listening to him ask a hundred questions in his little 4 year old voice, I loved that moment. Priceless moments, I may not remember the exact time or words but it will be forever etched in my heart.
Cohen does it to me also. He asked me for orange juice yesterday! He usually says 'juuusss' but this time he said 'ornsh juusss peeesss!' and handed me his cup. I was so proud. I clapped my hands and told him gooooood job honey!!! He just smiled that little smile that melts me into mush. He has finally started to say more words and it is soooo stinking cute! Here are a few more of his ways to communicate...
- brrmmm brrmm = car or truck
- muk = milk
- ooooow (your most pitiful voice possible) = anything that bites
- ruff ruff = he wants to watch '101 Dalmatians'
- rooorrrrr = he wants to watch 'The Lion King'
- rooooooterrrrrrrrr (make your voice very high) = he wants to watch baby Einstein 'old McDonald'
He has more I couldn't dare spell. He has a noise for bird and a noise for kitty. We have all attempted to make the cat noise but no one has been sucessull. I have attempted to get him on video but he never wants to talk when I have that thing, he just runs around and acts like.....a two year old! I will one day.
I am so blessed, I thank God every day for the very children that make me nuts sometimes. I don't know where or who I'd be without them. I wouldn't want to know...
