He is trying so hard to grow up on me! Stinker! Last night he told me he needed to potty so I followed him to my bathroom where HE took off his pj bottoms and his diaper, I put him up on the potty then he said.....'cose door Mommy, go way'. So I did. I left it cracked opened a hair so I could see him and he went pee pee!!!! YAY! I made such a big deal out of it and was smiling from ear to ear! I loved it.
Where the need for privacy come in at the ripe old age of 2 years and 3 months I don't know. I was a bit blown back by that but excited for him at the same time. Such a big boy. I'm buying him mini m&m's today to reward him each time he uses the potty.
Saturday he did the same routine but he climbed on my potty before I got there so I didn't see him go, not sure if he did but he was excited so maybe so. We have THREE toilets in my house and both boys have designated MINE as theirs. We all know how messy little boys can be and that is why I was excited that they would have their own. Didn't quite work out that way...
